Hennessy Hammock

It is my personal opinion that there is no better way to spend the night in the woods than in a hammock and the only hammock I use is Hennessy. The quality is amazing and the fact that they are an all in one system makes them the best choice.

After using for a few years I decided I wanted to be able to stay out in colder weather and if you have ever done that you know about butt freeze so I purchased their supershelter system which includes an under cover and a closed cell foam pad. I also purchased the over cover to make the system even warmer but i still had the smaller tarp. Then as if they knew they placed on sale the 30D Silnylon hex tarp which I immediately purchased also.

After adding the Supershelter system my back did not get cool  Plus now it like having a double wall hammock so no bug bites.

Sheba and I want to thank you for stopping by and checking out our new website. This is all new to use but I hope to post more than just videos here soon. 

We both love getting out and exploring this beautiful country we live in. We are from the Ozarks of Missouri and have backpacked and hiked in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Virginia. There is nothing better for us than to be in the middle of a wilderness area with no one around for miles but nature.

3 Days in the Grayson Highlands Virginia

This trip was back in October of 2016. SmellNRoses was kind enough to take the time to show Shane and myself around the Grayson Highlands in Virginia. I have to say I absolutely enjoyed very minute of it. The altitude did get to me but I pushed through and it was an awesome trip, I hope you enjoy as watching as much as I did doing it.

Birthday Hike-Coy Bald Trail-Hercules Glades Wilderness

Finally back out again and boy was it fun. On this Birthday Adventure we were joined by my great friend Roxanne. We went to the Hercules Glades Wilderness of the Mark Twain National Forest and Hiked around 7.5 miles including a stop at the falls. Day started out a little cloudy but soon turned into a beautiful day.
